AIC Girls-Only Clinic – June 12th 2016

On Sunday June 12 2016 Wellesley United Soccer Club ran a Girl-Only Clinic ran by the American International College Women’s Soccer Team Coaching Staff and Players.

The clinic was a roaring success despite having to be rescheduled from the original date of April 12th. The snow couldn’t hold us back this time. Captain of the AIC team Kendra Hixon said “It was a great day to coach soccer. The kids were amazing, so much fun, and very talented. It is a great thing to be able to meet and inspire youth players - a very rewarding experience.”

The main focus of the clinic was to create a fun, comfortable environment where the girls could meet role model college soccer players and learn from them. The content of the clinic included the full spectrum of soccer fundamentals such as dribbling, passing, shooting, positioning etc.

The clinic was held over at Perrin Park and over 50 girls were in attendance.

We would like to thank the members of the American International College Soccer Team for providing such an enriching experience for our players.

Thank you Steve Petrolati (Assistant Coach), Brianna Kenney, Jessica Margaretta, Kendra Hixon, Kelly Koslosky, and Anais Chareyron.
