Tryouts are held in May for those players who would like to be considered for the Division 1 and 2 teams for the following year.  Each age group fields a division 1 and 2 division 2 teams as well as a number of evenly balanced skll level division 3 teams.   It is not necessary to tryout to be placed on a balanced team. Tryout Schedule and information for parents about the tryout process can be found via this link Tryout Schedule and Info.

Questions If you have specific questions about your child's age group including team placement, please contact the appropriate coordinator listed below.
Tryouts are held only in spring. Please check the tryout info and the tryout policy for more info about tryouts and team placement.  Teams are generally kept the same from fall to spring whenever possible.  The team formation does depend on the # of players who return to play from fall to spring.

Team Placement
Please note The Wellesley United Soccer Club has a policy against accepting requests for specific placement or grouping of players or for specific coaches. While we clearly understand that parents have the best intentions in mind, with hundreds of players per grade the many specific requests that would inevitably be made would make it very difficult , if not impossible, to put teams together.

Volunteer to Coach
Coaches are needed at all levels - sign up to coach when you register your child or contact the age group coordinator

Earrings Safety Alert!
For safety reasons, EARRINGS and other jewelry cannot be worn during games. The referee will ask you to remove them before playing . If you are planning to get ears pierced, do it early in  the summer so they can be removed at first game in Sept. or early in winter so they can be removed at first game in early April. Referees will not allow taping of earrings - they must be removed in order to play.
