The Wellesley United Soccer Club Academy Programs

Tom Goodman, WUSC Director of Coaching, is pleased to announce the Fall, 2012 Academy Programs: the Jr. Academy Training Program and the Academy Training Program. The purpose for the academy programs is to provide an additional quality training environment for those players who want MORE! The training sessions will be designed to challenge the players, technically (skills) and tactically (decision making) in a competitive environment.

Why have Academy Programs?

Demand – parents of young players have always reached out to me, in the past, each year requesting a quality soccer environment where players are free to develop and be creative and where their performance is not securely linked to “Winning at all Costs”.

Development – provide an environment where young players, in the golden years of their development, can develop, unencumbered by outside pressures. Provide an environment where young players can be creative!

Fall Program Details:

Cost (per player): $120

When: Wednesdays

Dates: September 12, 19, 26, October 3, 10, 17

Where: Elm Bank Fields, 900 Washington St., Wellesley, MA 02481

Jr. Academy Program

Who: For Players in Grades 1, 2 and 3

Times:

Grade 1 1:00-2:00 pm

Grade 2 2:00-3:00 pm

Grade 3 3:00-4:00 pm

Academy Program

Who: For Players in Grades 4 and 5

Time:
Grade 4..........4:00-5:00 pm
Grades 5-7....5:00-6:00 pm

**Important…the first 25 boys and the first 25 girls to register for each grade will be accepted.
