If you enjoy being with kids, getting a little exercise, being in charge, and blowing a whistle with authority then being a referee might appeal to you.
If you have played or coached soccer, you already have a good start.
If you're in the 9th grade or older, we believe you are ready for the training course, however, the MSRC (Massachusetts State Referee Committee) allows anyone 11 years or older to take the required USSF Grade 9 license course.
The rules of the game can be easily learned, but keep in mind that the ability to guide players/coaches and parents through a soccer match takes maturity and self confidence.
