What: A low key introduction to soccer. Girls and boys play together. Program each week consists of 1/2 hour of skill development games followed by 1/2 hour of a 3v3 game of soccer. The registration fee includes a T-shirt and soccer socks. Each child should wear soccer shin pads and sneakers and bring a size 3 or 4 soccer ball with their name on it. No cleats allowed.

When: 5 Wednesdays May 4- June 1, 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. In case of rain, school coordinator will arrange for an announcement at school before 12 noon dismissal.

Where: It is held at each elementary school field. St. Johns plays at Brown field on Colburn Rd. If you attend private school, select to play in the elementary school district that you live in. If you are in an all day kindergarten, wait and sign up in June for our first grade program which runs on Sunday afternoons in the Fall.

How: Register online on this home page or follow link above. Registration fee is $65.  A $20 per player/per season field surcharge is included in the above registration fee. This is to raise funds for the new Sprague Field complex.  An additional $15 is charged for payments by check. Our credit card payment is very secure. Credit card numbers are not stored in the system and encryption is used. Processing and chasing down checks is also very time consuming and difficult. We encourage you to process payment by credit card.

If you would like to coach, sign up when you register your child online.
Coaches are needed. This program runs best with lots of parental participation. No previous experience necessary. Coaches can attend a clinic on Saturday, April 30th with time and location to be announced.  If raining, it will be moved into a gym. You will learn everything that you need to know. A Coaching handbook of program goals and skill games is available here.

Instructions for how to play 3v3 soccer are here.
