SCHEDULING A PRACTICE FIELD
Sprague Turf Fields The Turf Field Signup sheet for preseason practices now available. Youth Soccer has use of field #3 on weeknights (after 5:30pm), Youth Lacrosse will use field #2 on weeknights (after 5:30pm). Preseason signup includes time slots on the next 3 Saturdays except where x'd out due to WHS Lacrosse scrimmages. A sign up sheet for the regular season weekday practices will be posted soon.
Grass Fields can not be scheduled or reserved for your team. Each coach should determine the day/time for the weekly practice and refer to the Practice Field Availability Chart to figure out where to hold practices. Do not assume that the field you practiced on last fall is available for soccer. We have worked out a very intricate sharing of fields with youth lacrosse, little league and girls softball to make sure that field space is used efficiently. The Sprague complex is not available for WUSC until after 5:30 pm on weekdays and soccer is restricted to fields 3 and 4. Even if a field is open, do not start practice until 5:30 pm. Please understand that fields are at a premium during the spring and you will most likely have to share fields for practice with other soccer and/or baseball teams.
DIRECTIONS TO WELLESLEY FIELDS with google map, street address and individual field maps along with Field Status (open/closed) will be available by clicking on the individual field name in the bar on the top of the home page (feature to be activated by 3/23). You can also access the list of our fields at FIELDS under CURRENT SEASON menu block or click here.
CANCELLATIONS and field closings due to weather will be posted on the website. If you decide to cancel a home game for any other reason, you must email Judi Lucarelli to cancel the referee.

RESCHEDULING A HOME GAME If you need to reschedule a home game, call the other coach and agree on two or three possible times for the make-up game. Email the Referee Coordinator, Judi Lucarelli or call her at 781-237-8605. Please tell her the game ID, teams playing and a couple of times and dates for requested game. She will confirm field/date and times and assign a referee. Then call the other coach to confirm. Allow at least a few days for confirmation of referee assignment. She will not know if a referee is available until a week before the game. Please be advised that BAYS travel team coaches will have this responsibility for home games only. For your away games, you will work with the opposing team’s coach who will schedule the game with their town's coordinator.
