Spring 2022 Sunday Morning Pre-K Teams (for players entering Kindergarten in Fall 2022)

To make it more consistent with our K-3rd grade programs, as well as hopefully be more of a convenience for families, we will continue to offer Pre-K soccer on Sunday mornings, Sprague field, from 8:45-9:30am for players who will enter Kindergarten in Fall 2022. This will be parent volunteer coaching,  and 1-2 on site professional coaches. 

Our Wednesday afternoon program, will still take place, but as an additional session now under Wellesley Premier League. This program on Wed. will be offered to players 1 or 2 years prior to Kindergarten. This has a separate registration login page.

 The Sunday Kindergarten Program will provide six 45-minute sessions of age appropriate team practice activities and games for Wellesley’s Pre-K players. Players are assigned to a team of 6-7 players and each team is a different color. They play a small sided (3v3) game each week against a different team. 

WHO: Player who are currently 1 year prior to Kindergarten in fall 2022 (born prior to 9/1/2017).  Players must live in Wellesley or attend school in Wellesley.

WHERE:   Girls and Boys played at Sprague Field. Players will get team assignment via email in mid-April.  

WHEN: Sunday mornings 8:45-9:30 a.m. Spring season runs for 6 sessions  ( 5/1, 5/8, 5/15, 5/22, 6/5, 6/12). Makeup 6/19 if needed.  NOTE: Start/end times may be staggered a bit earlier or later due to COVID protocols.
Many parent coaches are needed!  Sign up to coach when you register your child.  Coaches will be emailed training plans and will need to arrive 15 minutes ahead to review lesson plan for the day. There are no additional practices during the week.

COST: Fee is $125.  Payment is by credit card only.   Space is limited and wait list will be started once session is full.  Deadline to register is March 1st. 

REFUND POLICY for Grade K: Full refund (less $10 processing fee) up to March 15, 2022, 50% refund up through April 10, 2022, no refund after April 10, 2022.

WHAT you need : All players and coaches will be given a t shirt.  Shin pads are required.  Cleats are recommended.  Players should bring a size 3 soccer ball to practice. 

VOLUNTEER COACHES ARE NEEDED!: Parents can sign up to volunteer as a head or assistant coach when you register your child.  If you would like to sign up after your registration was done, please log back into your registration account to volunteer.  Coaches should plan to arrive at field 15 minutes prior to players to review lesson plan with training director.
